OUR PROCESS

Each project begins with a meeting and site visit to gather a full understanding of what the client is looking for and what their needs are. After the initial meeting, every client receives both hand drawn and 3D modeled schematics which are tweaked until the client is completely satisfied. No payments are ever made by a client until after schematics have been finalized. While our firm is very honest with clients when we feel that something may or may not work, our number one job is to listen.

The level of detail that Defining Home Design Group considers through every aspect of a project is above and beyond what is delivered by most other firms. This dedication to detail results in fewer mistakes and miscommunications, thus saving money and time.

In addition to the design process, our team at Defining Home can be involved with any of the ancillary details of a project if those should be requested, including: landscaping, pools, gates, audio visual needs, and specialty orders from artisans. A result of doing this for our clients throughout the years has provided us with strong relationships with third party vendors that we know and trust. Our team also works very closely with the builders that we explicitly trust to do the best job for our clients.

Managing the expectations of our clients is a priority of Defining Home Design Group, but we aim to exceed expectations with every custom home project with which we are involved. Our firm has multiple repeat clients who have returned to us time and again, and we believe wholeheartedly that return business is the result of a happy client whose expectations were exceeded.
